Merry Xmas
Merry Christmas and happy new year EVERYONE
Andi......these dogs you are talking about helping......I have a small turkey crown you can defrost and cook for them if you would like it!
here we go again, slagging off k9 once again.
I have been in the shop on several occasions and i have seen dog food, tinned dog food, blankets, quilts stacked up with lesley's kennels written on them, so i dont know where you are getting your info from ( butl i do have a pretty good idea ) so Andi you are wrong again, and it's about time you kept your mouth shut and let this charity get on with the good work they are doing. mark
I know a few people that worked in the K9 shop as volunteers but no longer go in there. They did not like the way they were taken for granted and how they were treated by Diane Smith the K9 treasurer. The K9 committee is now a clic of just a few people and nobody is allowed at any of their meetings, not even K9 members!
So - markmark722... if you've seen piles of bedding and tinned food in the k9 shop labelled up to go to Lesley and Lesley didn't get it, where did it go? I get really sick of people presuming that there is some vendetta being waged against k9. It's not that at all. I think most of us have much better things to do with our time than to waste it picking on people we hardly know! It's simply a case of there being an awful lot of unanswered questions surrounding k9. No answers are every given - just the same old "it's a vendetta against us" line. I thought this "new" committee got themselves elected because they were going to be "transparent" and keep their members informed of what was going on. Have they? Do we even know who half of them are? Come on k9 - don't you think it's about time to tell us what is going on? You've had our money - now tell us what you're doing with it! Answer the questions you've been asked and we'd all shut up and go away. All this repeated silence does is make us wonder what you've got to hide!
Janineb, in answer to your question about the items for lesley's kennels, where do you think they are ? they are still sitting in the shop awaiting collection by lesley, who i might add, she her self does not come into the shop for anything, she sends other people in to collect for her. as for unanswered questions people can either go into the shop or go onto the K9 web site for all the information, which is what i do, as far as i know K9 cannot answer peoples questions because I dont think there are any k9 people that use this site, so the best option is to e-mail K9 for any answers they require, I also know some of the committee, and these people have told me that members should read the news letters that come out every month, this is how i keep up with all that K9 do for the animals, so why can't k9 members do the same, as regards not knowing who the committee are, all their names are on the K9 web site, after all this is why they have a web site. if members took the time and trouble to look at the web site they would know what is going on, as far as i can see K9 are doing a great job and their profile is being lifted with the amount of hard work and social events that are being organised, I have been to them all which is more than I can say for other members of K9.
so i suggest you do shut up and come to the events and see just what is going on.
Mark.
Hi sandra I wondered when you would be attacking K9 again. Incidentally Sandra is not your real name and i am sure people would find it interesting to know who you really are. After all, one charity attacking another the way you do is just not acceptable.
Mark - you obviously read a different website to me then! The k9 website I visit has a newsletter every THREE months, with the second one on line now. The last one (September) said nothing i couldn't have read on the website. I'll accept this latest one does give a little info that's not elsewhere on their site though. Where are YOU going to see the MONTHLY newsletters? As regards finding the committee member names on their website - not exactly "proud" of themselves, are they? I eventually found them - hidden in tiny print somewhere where very few people would ever find it! If you're going to have a go at me Mark - get your facts right first!
Ahh Sandra, you decided to come back and slag someone else off.
No apology when you were so rude and wrong the last time..... and here you are hiding behind a faceless post passing on gossip,,,,, Get a life Sandra and stop spoiling what is a good site for information.
And yes Mark i would love to know her real name
If this is true I would like to know what happens to the hundreds of tins of dog food that people have donated and put into the K9 trolley at Iceland. I have been doing this regularly. Surely this dog food is supposed to go to K9 dogs in kennels?
