BOAT TRIPS
Boat Trips
Enjoy the wonderful views of the Torrevieja’s coastline from a boat.
We recommend making this cruise in the afternoon, as you can witness a wonderful sunset during the way back.
Throughout the cruise, an audio-guide will inform you about everything you visit.
Route: The exit point is set up at the Torrevieja’s port, and then it starts sailing next to the floating museums to go out later to the bay and cruise just all along the coast up to the Playa del Cura beach, where it turns back to the port. It is an ideal short trip to prevent people from feeling sick.
Approximate duration: 30 minutes (round trip)
Price: 8€ for adults, free for children up to 8 years old.
Trip hours: every day trips at 11.30 am, 12.30 pm, 1.30 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm. When you book just tell them that you saw the posting on this website.

HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR
Corrr!!!! What a scorcher of a day. Watching the Spanish News this morning it stated that it could hit 50 degrees in some parts of Spain today. They were not wrong as you can feel you are burning instantly just by walking a few 100 meters. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE OUT, ALWAYS TAKE SOME WATER WITH YOU AS IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME LETS ALL BE SENSIBLE AND ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!
Walking through Almoradi Market today felt like being in a cattle market, so many people, so hot and sticky, just wanted to get to the first bar with air con! Not pleasant having a stroll in these conditions. Could not wait to get back home and slip into the pool, lovely,cool and fresh, best place to be.

Just got back from seeing Bella Luna, once again we were not disappointed their show was really good.
Juan captivated us all with his raw talent and they featured a guitar medley with both Juan and Jose playing acoustic guitar.
Once again Juan thrilled his audience with his rendition of Michael Jackson´t Thriller routine, just amazing!!
I think that Torrevieja has everything most ex-pats expect. Obviously, a percentage will want something different - that's democracy!
The good news is that within a short distance of Torrevieja you can have what you seem to be looking for - some inland places you might consider: Almoradí, Algorfa, Hondón de los Nieves. Going south (near the coast) Pilar de la Horadada, San Pedro and Los Alcázares. If you need city life Elche and Alicante are almost completely overlooked by N.European ex-pats.
That said, the ONLY way to find what you are looking for is to come over on a number of visits and at different times of the year to see what suits you. One man's meat is another man's poison. I was happy in Spain from day one but it took a whole 8 years to find what I really wanted. I hope you can find it quicker than that!
If you want introductions to Spanish estate agents rather than English ones, just shout and I can intro you to established local agents who can take you into the more Spanish areas. They are however English speaking.
